We are an online retailer established in 2004.

SHC Web is a UK website, based in north cumbria.

Anyone! We sell to the public, to professional and commercial users and to the public sector.

Security and Privacy

We use SSL encryption on our checkout pages and our site has a security certificate. For card payments you are handed over to PayPal and subject to the highest-available security levels. Your card details are not stored on our server or on our premises.

Ordering

Sorry - we're not generally set up for personal shoppers. All our stock is organised as a mail-order warehouse, not for browsing. We can sometimes arrange for an order to be collected, if you're local, but contact us first, as you'd need to place the order in advance and arrange the collection.
Sorry but we don't take orders over the phone. We ask that orders are placed through the website or emailed via purchase order for payment via PayPal or bank transfer.
We sell to everyone including bulk trade customers. We offer volume pricing on the product pages. If you would like a larger quantity please Contact Us.
Just drop us an email or Contact Us - we'll be happy to offer any advice that we can.
You should receive an email confirming your order. We will also send a confirmation of shipping email to you.

Payment

We accept Visa, Delta, Electron, Visa Debit, MasterCard and American Express cards, and PayPal accounts.
Unfortunately we no longer accept cheques, postal orders or International Money Orders.
We can send you a pro forma invoice to pay via bank transfer. Place your order online and choose the Offline Payment option, then contact us to request your pro forma. Sorry, but we don't offer credit accounts.

Delivery

All of our items have free delivery!
We can sometimes arrange for an order to be collected, if you're local, but contact us first, as you'd need to place the order in advance and arrange the collection.

Problems

If your order hasn't arrived please Contact Us.
Within 30 days of receipt you are welcome to return any item for any reason as long as it's in resaleable condition. Please our Returns and Refunds page.

VAT

A VAT receipt is sent by email when we send your order.
Yes - please select your island as the delivery country and VAT will be removed in the checkout. We cannot retrospectively refund VAT if you selected 'United Kingdom' as your Channel Islands delivery country. We can amend before despatch if you let us know in time!
